This is one of their best albums. Well, each of their album has a different character and that is a reason why I cannot make all of them in the same level. U2's music is not like the mainstream music we hear on the radio today. Their music will take a lot of "getting used to" before it all sinks in.

Just take a look at Moment of Surrender. Wow, no one, can make that kind of music with that kind of passion. Fez-Being Born, one of the best ambient tracks I've heard.

As a music journalist, long time U2 fan and owner of almost 2000 'classic' albums, I have to say that NLOTH is one of the most under-appreciated releases in recent history. It's being overlooked by the young especially who don't understand how great U2s contribution to music has been and they believe the negative media that seems to haunt Bono and his charity efforts. U2 are currently unfashionable, but quality never goes out of style. I personally thinks it's in U2s top three best albums.

@milesdavisblackmx5 absolutely spot on. The magic of the mainstream hits (boots,magnificent,no line aside) the one that caught my attention were moment of surrender (a real tear jerker if one feels that way), and especially cedars of lebanon and white as snow.

THIS TRULY IS THE DEFINITION OF U2 and as always over-expecting disappointed the over-excited ones. This is one helluva album

First of all try to be gentle when you discuss with people. Second, U2 was a great band I mean from their debut when they started playing punk music (Boy) to Achtung Baby in the early 90's. Now their music is simply empty...musically speaking.
