  • really great song

  • This song makes me happy :-)

  • Wat een leuk liedje! En helemaal leuk dat je ook allemaal thee-gerelateerde geluiden in het lied verwerkt hebt.

  • Klinkt lekker zeg! :D

  • I'm so glad I found you at Vidcon! I'm totally downloading your album.

  • I love the harmony in the chorus, and the organ. I feel very inspired :)

  • Briljant, ik kon jouw Nederlands nog eens even verstaan (en natuurlijk begrijpen)! Helaas, woon ik niet d'rbij!

  • My Glasses fog up too!!~ and i like black tea! :)

  • JB, you are so good! i love how ypu are so different to anyone else out there, the subtle songwriting about familiar themes with deep meaning, your great composition, chord writing, skill on the guitar, innovation (using teacups and a kettle to make a beat) and last but not least your amazing voice! DFTBA are lucky to have you!! :)

  • @ScaryMunchkin Comments like these make me smile shyly :-) Thanks!

  • @ScaryMunchkin I agree heartily

  • i've always loved this song.

  • I feel as if I have contributed half of these views.

  • This has become the soundtrack to my Tea Tuesdays.

  • Not quite sure when I subscribed to you....

But I was pleasantly surprised with how lovely this song is. :D

  • new favourite song.

  • Brilliant, and on time ;) See you Thursday.

  • I got the CD today, and it put such a huge smile on my face.

  • I really like all of the hometastic percussion

  • YAY! My favey! I really like how you've kept bits similar to the original video and hearing the very first line recorded is fascinating! Good work as always JB =)

  • hehe... misty glasses ;P

  • love this.

  • Sounds great with headphones! Nice work!

  • Great work! Fun to hear/see the original versions!

  • WHAT!!! this is too good... ughhhh

  • The train-story is like Harry Potter all over again :D

  • @Lidespam I don't see the direct link, but I'm pretty sure you're right :P

  • @jbdazen Jo came up with Harry Potter while sitting in a train :) She didn't have any means of writing it down, so just kept thinking about it.. and voila. I guess it's not exactly the same, but it reminded me of that anyways :D

  • @Lidespam Oh yeah, I remember :-) Trains are awesome for the creative process. As are bikes and showers. Places where your mind has the time to wander off.

  • I hope you'll provide subtitles for Hackenslacken, haha.

This song is going to be stuck in my head all day.

  • @fizzylimon I'm not really sure about subtitles yet. It's hard to translate humour :-) But who knows :-)

  • What kind of tea did you use while making this video?

  • @teunv111 Sterrenmunt, if I'm not mistaken :-)

  • You need a disclaimer: No actual tea making equipment was harmed in the filming of this video.

  • @scratchingcat Did I give that impression then? Just wait until you get to see the video for 'Dishes', then ;-)

  • This song is awesome and home is amazing I listen to it all the time.

  • @gallifreyannerdftr Thanks for that! :-)

  • Can't say I'm much of a tea drinker, but I quite like this song all the same. I think it's cool how one little on-the-train moment can blossom into something so brilliant.

  • @gemllama Even though it's my own stuff, I like listening back to hear how it all started. It's like a photo album of my life. Except it's a music album :P. Wow. I just found out the deeper meaning of the word album :P

  • This is my by far favorite song.. when people ask me.. they get this confused look and I share your channel and I am so happy you uploaded this.

  • @punkslilncs Thanks for sharing it :-) That's the best help you can give me :-)

  • Thats my phone!! I still have it. I need new technology.

Song is great. I shall now buy the physical copy of your album :)

  • @DeadEndDoll94 Thou art too kind ;-)

  • Have the same phone which sadly passed away recently :(

  • Great song as ever JB glad to see it looking so fresh and peppy much like tea itself. :)

  • I love this song. It is one of my favorites. =) I sing it to myself all the time.

  • JB, you got partnered?

  • I love this song. You are so talented. :)

  • AH very clever! Great job! Hope the show(s) go well!

  • Just watched the video. Liked it. As predicted :D

  • I liked the video before I watched it. I knew what I would think

  • I loved this song, I still have and use that very same make of phone :D

  • Same old tea chest. <3

I love this song, it has a crisp sound, like the first wonderful sip of a cup of bitter tea.

  • Love the idea od multiple JBs really simple way of visualizing the harmony parts :D

  • No milk in your tea? ARE YOU MAD?

  • @ShmoNerd No, you Englishmen are all FLIPPING mad! MILK in your tea? Psssshhhh :P (Detail: I also quit taking sugar since I wrote the song, so the spoon is totally for show :P)

  • @jbdazen

Excuse me, JB, but I do believe you mean UK people. I'm Welsh and I put milk in my tea.

Also, a common stereotype is that English people prefer cream. But that's usually only grannys.

  • TEA.

  • This just sounds like the kind of song I would love to walk down a city sidewalk listening to. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to buy this album. :D Excellent work man.

  • Win.

  • The best song :D:D:D:D!!!

  • Awesome, nice one! :D

  • Love this song so much! The loop pedal version was awesome, but love the refined one :D

  • I'm loving this song :)
