I was just thinking about this myself. What I was thinking, though, is that it doesn't matter the length it matters the quality and content. However, people subconsciously are in a hurry to look at the next one, so I understand. My question though is whether or not YouTube is causing shorter attention spans, or if that is already a problem of ours. lol.

Be varied! If what you care about is one sentence-put up a 10 sec. one. If you really want to muse, put up a 10 minute one. I save the long ones when I'm browsing, then listen to them when I'm washing dishes, or cleaning.

I belive that you can actually post a 5' video, but definitively can't be a static one. It requires movement so people can "travel" with you, and not feel that they're just sitting there doing nothing, (that happens to be exactly what they're doing). Saludos!
