I am confused, last year we visited Soller when we were on a cruise, we went on the wooden train. We are going to Palma on holiday and want to visit Palma again, so, is the Palma we visited Palma Mallorca or Majorca? Is this video Mallorca or Majorca??? Would like to see them both so can someone please verify which is which and how we get there from Palma. Thank you your help would be very much appreciated.

@rosechris48 this is Puerto de Soller. (the Port of Soller). There is a train from Palma de Mallorca (the main city of the island Mallorca) to Soller (the village inland of the port of Soller) and then there is also a tram which goes from Soller to Puerto de Soller. This is the one pictured in the video. Majorca is just the English way of spelling Mallorca. The double ll is pronounced as 'J" in Spanish. I hope this helps.

Having lived there from 1964 to the end of 1966 I can see the changes and really don't like them. It was the most quaint place on earth. Hopefully the bar Socorro is still there with Jaime serving drinks. Now it's just another tourist trap.
