  • myth busted! now have sex

  • this is no myth to be busting.the idea is so foolish it should be unworthy of testing

  • wow she looks hawt at the start of this 1

  • Hay guise! If you jump out of a tall building whilst standing upon a chair and jump up before you hit the ground you will land unharmed! I just did it FIVE TIMES! You've got to try it! It's sooooooooooo fun!

  • maybe you should put it on speaker :-P

  • key fob under the chin extends range significantly

    <--rf tech

  • Meu Nokia N85 é muito travado. Destravar carros o deixaria ainda mais apavorado! Seria mais uma função que não conseguiria executar!

  • There is another way of unlocking your car while your out of the range, by just putting your key up to your head, looking at the car, press the unlock button and it unlocks, if you don't believe me try it yourself

  • @gamer2229 I usually just press the Unlock button. XD

  • It worked for me but there are few duffs. I called a landline(remember those.) from my iPhone. It did not work until i put the call on speaker. Also it only worked on my 2005 Honda. It did not work on my 2006 Acura

  • the Hyneman could start a car (gas tank full or empty) and open the doors with one "don't mess with me" look at a good 30 yards. top that, chuck norris!

  • That's a shame, I was almost hoping for this to work.

  • @Unitronus look carefully he was pressing the lock button (while the car was locked) not the unlock button

  • "and thats a can of beer"

  • lol i hate it when they try and act.

  • What if they used speaker phone?

  • God DAMN! Kari looks fine in this shot!

  • @stuntmanmike37 She`s hot :D

  • please read this!!

i dont know how but this worked for me but it took me a couple of tries, i was out of range and to be sure i did click the unlock button but after that i rang my freind who was stood next to the car and tried a couple of times and eventually it worked and i was shocked and a little proud! i tried to do it a few more time but only got it to work 3 more times then got bored but i think it maybe the infra red that unlocks the car threw the phones signal!

  • Hey....yes its you favorite....LOLOL

  • You could try using a 3G connection. It might work because the 3G is much faster.

  • If he put it to his head. . .

  • This myth is just so stupid from start to finish.

If the frequency is inaudible to humans, then why in the hell would a cheap cell phone speaker be able to reproduce the sound? The response dropoff for a cell phone speaker is probably around 12 kHz, well BELOW the highest frequency a human can hear, which is generally 20 kHz.

  • cell phones are so early 00's... come on people...

  • LOL yeah-- all that old stuff from LAST decade. xDDD

  • well, to be honest, I thought that this one would be busted...

  • i hate the first little parts of the myths. theyre so obviously scripted

  • they are recorded after they did the myth. its better than actually recording it then doing the myth. what if they tweak the myth? they have to record everything again.

  • @milroxsox Hate is such a strong word, even in 2010...

  • They forgot to try with Kari sitting inside the car with the phone. It still wouldn't work, but their the Mythbusters... They usually try every possible way. :(

  • The myth is that one guy LOSTTHE KEY so if you lost yr key, how u SIT INSIDE THE CAR

  • @dieperboy Dude, listen to it again. They said, someone locked the keys inside the car and still has the cell phone with them. Pay attention. There was nothing about sitting either.

  • chuck norris could do it...

  • i thought that fad died a year ago...

  • maybe.

i live in okinawa japan, im dead to the world...

  • it never dies, it just goes into remition, its like cancer

  • @azminivanracer no he couldnt hes a fuckin faggot

  • man i really wanted this to be true

  • He forgot to mention that it's not just the difference in frequencies. Sound and radio waves are completely different types of waves!

  • no he is exactly right all sound and radio waves are only different because of the frequency they are both electromagnetic waves

  • I can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not...

  • Comment removed

  • Radio waves are electromagnetic waves while sound waves are compression waves. Big difference D:

  • me neither

  • Ive got a good one, why dont u test HouseHoldHackers gravity shoes???

  • Everything HouseHoldHacker does is intentionally fake, just so see how many gullible people buy it. No point!

  • whoever gave them this myth is a complete moron and shouldn't be allowed near a car, or for that matter, be allowed to live. in fact, talking in your cell phone should decrease the effictiveness of the remote, because it is such a string powerful signal. it's basic.

on a related note, when you are driving, hang up the cell phone. trust me, these mythbusters proved that it is as bad as being drunk, and I have firsthand experience with these idiots every day on the way to college.

  • it doesn't matter anyway it's a viewer myth not their idea

  • they don't think it's the sound the think they can transfer the unlocking signal through the cell phone wave

  • um, dude. what you are suggesting isn't real. One wireless wave isn't going to amplify another. But thats not what they were suggesting, they clearly said what I said above. Why don't you watch the video again and see?

  • okay you stfu you dont know what your talking about

  • Oh, I most definitely know what I'm talking about. I work at a major wireless technology company as an engineer, so I think I'd fucking know what I'm talking about.

  • MYTH HATER!
