AX7 got to where they got from progressive development in musical merit, LP got famous from marketing genius. No matter how good AX7 is they could never fill the void created in the genre by LP, who expanded it to breaking point without contributing any new ideas. Besides the only way the two bands could possibly be related is because LP's style is so ill-defined.
