its hard to imagine that the american world empire could really break appart. i mean with all the thinktanks im sure they have thought about something to safe all their influence and militarymight and stuff in case the dollar breaks down or something unforseen happens

If that were the case, then wouldn't the Roman Empire and such still exist?

As for the Roman Empire, also saw their currency go down the drain before their empire fell apart.. (correct me if I'm wrong)

And then we got Europe, who does not want to see the dollar becoming too cheap, as that will hurt our trading position. That would mean the euro would be devalued too.

And then we got all those babyboomers who are going to retire.. The next generations are economically doomed..

hm i dont know if its good to compare a ancient empire with the modern world. we are by far more sophisticated. they had no thinktanks and real researchgroups back then i bet. also most smarties know that the financial system was setup to fail in the end so they must have some kind of backup plan when it finally occurs
