Hi Andrew Thanks for The lesson! Is it ok to use a KYSER capo on a nylon string guitar? Would they damage the strings sense they have more tension than oder capos? I would appreciate a lot if you reply. Thanks..

Here's a suggestion: Sit the hell down and practice in different keys than E and A!!! I hate guitarists who want to make everything easier, as it was so damn difficult. That's why there's so many amateurs, and so few who make a real difference. Capo is for achieving different high tunings, not because it's difficult to play in Bb... If it is, start practising, period.

@Chuektor or... you can use a capo to transpose your instrument and build from there? people do this all the time.. -.-

@Chuektor Well, they will, but until they get their barre chords down, they can do this. Also, sometimes, you want to be able to use open strings as well as getting higher voiced chords, but you don't want to play in E or A. Also, if you're singing and playing at the same time, sometimes, even if you practice, you don't have time to make sure you get every barre chord change perfectly. Besides, open chords are more resonant than barre chords, so I prefer using a capo for acoustic stuff.

I love Capo's

I have so many, I have found the Glider capo to help me with this same problem.

I can bend the string close to the capo and the string don't move.

I hate it when you bend a string using a capo and it gets stuck bent you are in the middle of a song, so try a glider it works and cost less than the other which also are good at keeping the bent strings in tune
