All you shit talkers have obviously never actually participated in an expo at SEMA. When you do the same shit all day for 4 days straight, you're going to have some issues.
Unfortunately this video does more harm than good for the product. Chic needs to do less talking and more listening so she can learn how the product works herself!!! Sorry guys but this is a horrible effort to promote this product!! Good thing it was recommended by a friend or I wouldn't even consider it!
Once it has set, it should be fine, it's rated for 3 years in desert sun, and 4 years regular outdoors...so 3M definitely tested in harsh conditions. You should make sure and use 3M Primer 94 when installing in harsh conditions especially.
It will be fine after being in the summer heat. Best to have a qualified installer do the work for optimum results. Proper preparation of the surface is essential to a good installation. A professional shouldn't have any problems with bubbling and this won't expand. Material is highly durable, 3-4 year outdoor and 12 years indoor are the specs on it!
The 3M DI-NOC carbon looks great and easy to install (it has small airchannels in the adhesive so air can escape and you avoid bubbles). But these installers have NO CLUE of what they are doing!
@CarbonFiberGear I will order this stuff, but the film doesn't do the product any good. She's removing air bubbles, at least she says, but the bubbles remain.
Wow! This vid has major fail all over it. That was the worst demo of a great product ever!!!

How does this work after it's been applied & left out in the Summer heat, does it expand, warp, & bubble?

Shits too expensive for what it does.
Why not just trim that big piece down closer to the size your gonna actually end up using??
ARBuilder1776 2 years ago
You can, this was just a demonstration to show how it works.

Cool product! The installers have no idea what they're doing though. They actually make it look HARDER than it actually is.
