how to cinema 4d compare to modo

for modeling, its better. But for dynamics and particles etc better go with 4D cause modo dont have them yet.

thank you I'm using blender right now and am doing a little research before i buy something a little more powerful. I would want houdini, but since I plan on using it in productions I can't afforded that.

LOLOLOLOLOLO, at what? Modeling? lolololo Yea Maya is more powerful because it has Particles, and dynamics etc but as far as Photorealistic renders and pure modeling, maya is years behind modo. Maya has no fall offs or work plane etc. like modo implements them. Modeling is maya is old. Its just the Windows of 3D. Prices are high, updates are low, and autodesk just sucks.

I dunno, 3ds max is pretty good.

I like Modo too though, but I don't really have a favorite.

Just saying, Autodesk isn't that bad.

well, they havent done anything specific. I have just had bad experiences with customer service etc. And I dont like how they bought XSI and raised the price.
