@FirebrandNIRE - Presumably you don't think that there should be an opt-out of Google's intrusiveness. We've managed so far on You Tube without needing the thread of "track Tube" hovering over us. Freedom of choice to be tracked or not isn't there.

Google should just separate their searches from their competitor's searches...Google search for Google product, and Google search for non-Google product. Yahoo seems to have already done something to that effect.

As long as Congress is addressing Google's possible antitrust violations, why not finally go after big oil, parmacuticals and health insurers? I'm not defending Google here, I'm just fed up with double standards brought on by lobbyists who pay off Congress to keep their sacred cows.
