i'd say that the mixing might be a bit excessive on the high end. I would also turn the correction time down on the autotune, its a bit jumpy at some points.
also, the lead vocals were a bit hot at times.
however, given that you spent no more than 200 total on those mics, this is an awesome recording. keep it up.
I thoroughly enjoyed this! Excellent work man! I love the way the different layers fit together so seamlessly, and you have a bit of a Rob Thomas/Santana theme working for you here. Why not push that a little further and add a few melodies on electric guitar? Also, very effective and resourceful using the guitar for percussion, though early on I thought it dominated the percussion too much (just for a few seconds). great job!
I wanted to keep this completely acoustic, I thought about some electric melodies, and maybe adding a hammond organ, with a leslie rotator, but I decided to keep it acoustic, hence the beatboxing and the guitar "bongo"
but thanks for the comment man, its greatly appreciated =)
Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, I get that! I didn't mean an overindulgence in electric stuff. I was thinking of a spurt her or there the way Santana does it, for eg like in "Smooth" because it would fit so perfectly ;)
Nice work Bro, wish I would get that audio Quality on mi videos, I still have some dificults whit the sound edition, keep on...

yeah I didn't mix very well and my vocals are a little distorted/loud at times.
i only spent 100 on the mics ;-) lol
and i'm suprised you caught the autotune, i try to use it very sparingly for notes I might be a little "off" on.
