Oh and btw, the bolas is a 15 second hold, it gets cut in half if they're praying range, and it gets cut in half again if they're weilding a slash weapon on them or if they have a knife on them. (courtesy of rs wiki, and tested it mahself) :)

tangles will splash on ranger and mages because of there magic defence bonus.

bolas will plash on plate armor because of its range defence bonus.

note: bolas are considered a combat weapon / not a combat weapon. you can log through a bolas even if you're already "binded" - they do allow you to skull, so its a mix-max situation.

- also, bolas are more effective for luring if you're going to smite seeing as they don't deal damage like entangle, but again they can log through bolas.
