Her looks strucked the Europerian fashion as exotic simply because of the rarity of Asians among the predominant caucasians models during her time but a girl with her looks would rate 3/10 in Asia. Anna Bayle? Cindy Crawford redefined the concept of a supermodel back in the 90s. The catwalk had simply become a springboard in their astronomical rise as supermodel. A supermodel needs to have the proper looks as well, which Bayle doesnt have. Bayle didnt have sufficient magazine covers. Her local success in Paris was limited to the catwalks. Why Melanie did not reached the league of the big 5 certified supermodels (Cindy, Claudia, Lynda, Noaomi & Christy) was simply because she has decided to return to the Philippines and to the local movies. She was a hit (not a reject) in her attempt in New York. She had the proper looks, built and walk. Other claimer to supermodelhood simply had the walk but they never had the looks that can make it to the covers of A1 fashion mags by the 100s.
