Brosnan was a superb 007 - had the ruthlessness of Connery, the charm and suaveness of Moore and the danger of Dalton. Craig is a pale imitation by comparison.
Yes, Brosnan is older now but for some reason Craig looks much, much older(probably due to those puffy bags under his eyes).
I never did get why they would replace Bond with an actor that looked even older (which is especially bizarre considering that Casino Royale went back to the beginning of the franchise).

Casino Royale, on the other hand (that last hand nearly killed me), was a great Bond movie, just more modern, and the Bond feeling was there all the time. Quantum of Solace wasn't good, though.

Pierce Brosnan was also very good - acting, looks, but except Goldeneye all films with him are rubbish. Damn straight! Bring Back Brosnan! I honestly think that Casino Royale's success was down to the curiosity factor, and that Quantum Of Solace will be a complete flop. I refuse to watch any Craig Bond films. To avoid Pierce getting too old to play the role again (not that I would complain about that), I think they should do a mammoth shoot of 3 new Brosnan Bond films back-to-back, releasing one a year, and watch the money flood in. My brother hates Craig as much as I do, and for his birthday 2 years ago, I was planning to by him the Borat film and substitue the cover with a (downloaded!) Casino Royal Fuck-Up cover in its place - just to see the look on his face! Didn't get round to it, though. Pity; I think he wouldv'e had a fit.

Casino Royale was accepted by all true Bond fans as an excellent reboot to the series. Brosnan was worse than Roger Moore, whose time had passed. Respect to all bonds but Brosnan. Yes, Brosnan is older now but for some reason Craig looks much, much older(probably due to those puffy bags under his eyes).
I never did get why they would replace Bond with an actor that looked even older (which is especially bizarre considering that Casino Royale went back to the beginning of the franchise).
I honestly have no idea how old Craig is (haven't bothered to look it up), but he looks extremely old and weary--not the look James Bond should have.

Yeah, sure we really need back Q and Moneypenny, but we don't want Brosnan's movies back, they were not great, and that's not because of Brosnan (he was awesome), it's because it just wasn't original Bond.
Casino Royale, on the other hand (that last hand nearly killed me), was a great Bond movie, just more modern, and the Bond feeling was there all the time. Quantum of Solace wasn't good, though.

Sean Conery was the best - acting, appearance... Timothy Dalton was also good, he gave that human factor to the superhero-like Bond created by Roger Moore. Pierce Brosnan was also very good - acting, looks, but except Goldeneye all films with him are rubbish. Daniel Craig is a very good actor and he plays Bond well (except that maybe he's too serious sometimes), but he looks like old-fashioned bonds psychopathic enemies, than the James Bond. He just don't fit. This is what I think.

Brosnan made two very good bonds goldeneye and tomorrow never dies, the other two i didn´t liked. Craig did a good job but i just can´t see him as a bond, i think he could have been a great villain. Damn straight! Bring Back Brosnan! I honestly think that Casino Royale's success was down to the curiosity factor, and that Quantum Of Solace will be a complete flop. I refuse to watch any Craig Bond films. To avoid Pierce getting too old to play the role again (not that I would complain about that), I think they should do a mammoth shoot of 3 new Brosnan Bond films back-to-back, releasing one a year, and watch the money flood in. Then we can all try to forget the whole Craig debacle.

Bond was essentially dead, bogged down in court preceedings, when Brosnan was announced as the new Bond it was covered LIVE by CNN and CSPAN. Brosnan rejuvanated the series. Debate me if I'm wrong.

In all honesty I don't what you're talking about. Craig is one of the best actors of his generation in Britain right now, he delivers an authentic performance in every acting scene in the movie. Nobody's asking you to forget all the great characters from the movies, but once you've seen them you've seen them all right? along with the austin powers spoofs that summed them up. The diehards and the traditionalsits make up a very small proportion of the fans let alone the audience.

There are more than one scene to judge this guy from. 1. Arguing with a female in a bathroom over a tux. 2. Running through a wall. 3. Jumping around like Jackie Chan. 4. Trying to come across that he loved Vesper in a matter of minutes. 5. Getting pissed over money he lost and the money wasn't his to begin with. 6. Chasing a man with a steak knife in the middle of a packed casino. Thats just a sample. This movie was only made to the 15-25 kids who have short attention spans.
