*song(keertanam) = sarasijanabha sodhari a prayer in worship of goddess parvathi
keertanam = songs in praise of god
*ragam = nagagaandhari
*composer = muthuswamy dikshitar of 18nth centhury
* genre = carnatic(south indian classical)
*chanting = mantra or prayers for pooja something like that ..am not expert in my religion..but i also say dat ...ooops no thankx... i got these information frm other youtube vids but hav heard d keertanam
My favorite part is from 2:33 to 3:03 ish...It gets intense right there, and in my mind, I get images of a scene in Indiana Jones - Temple of Doom...when they're in that room doing the Kalima Shuktidae youtube.com/watch?v=KBIdcUxdgo0
YES! best song on Krishna Lila.....Cheb I Sabbah at his BEST!!!!! He used to be a resident DJ in SF but looks like that's been over for some time......
@droidster888: If you mean that warm, tingly feeling in the head and spine combined with a feeling in the chest almost like you're going to cry, I know EXACTLY what you mean. There's a song by Yes that does that to me, called "The Revealing Science of God"
@ vipez666 I'm totally with you on that, has the same effect on me, every time. It's the voice, when it kicks in, it does 'something', don't ask me how...
there REALLY is something very special and Divine about this song...i remember the first time i heard it on last fm it gave me goosebumps ..... and everytime i hear this it still makes the hair on my arms stand.... i dono why.... i really feel a spiritual connection to this song...something ancient...past live ?? i have no idea but its a really strong feeling....
