I think that the mere fact that you can produce, legally watch and pass comment on programes like this (which is excellent, BTW) makes you a step or two ahead of certain other countries. Any country with a sizable population and large land mass is going to be difficult to govern. And while your government won't always get it right, at least they are not as brutally repressive as they are in China.

Any country with a sizable population and large land mass is going to be difficult to govern. And while your government won't always get it right, at least they are not as brutally repressive as they are in China.

I don't know why people aren't going on strike, or doing any massive protests right now. One way this country can bring the government to it's knees is to quit buying oil. We do not need oil anyway! I can walk, or I can ride a bike. I live 11 miles from the closest town, but I could ride my bike during the summer months. Which is exactly what I intend to do.
