  • Круто конечно, но КАМАЗ КРУЧЕ ! :)

  • Ahhh the C304 volvo a thing of beauty I've got a C303 one of the 30 brought to OZ and as far as I know the only one in West Oz

  • a piece of cake ,do this with long samurai and later with a near stock vitara ,but the 6x6 Laplander is a incredibel machine!

  • Volvo 4 life <3

  • It looks top heavy like it would flip easy.

  • wow, thats really impressive!

  • thats fucking cool

  • wow.OMG

  • This is the Volvo C304 6x6 variant of the C303. I think its the communications variant used by artillery units. Very rare one to come by this family of trucks are great off road.

  • This car is definitely 6x6, not 4x4

  • Its 6x6.... end of diskussion......

  • you stupid fucks , my father have a car like that one and trust me its a 6x6

  • Yeah sure you are joking but can't you count? 6+6=12 4+4=8 come on, not even funny...

  • yep! i love this! the most beautiful Volvo ever built! i had one just like this, but it got stolen 2 weeks ago! :(

  • your fault if they stole a volvo 6x6 out from under your nose.

  • no, it's not. why should it be?

  • your a DUMBASS

  • Swedish army has these, along with the smaller variations. You look at them and laugh, and then it does something like this =) Truly a piece of engineering.

  • @Liemann varför är dom roliga

  • @Liemann A proof that we sweedz are good at cars ;)

  • "das ist einfach gewaltig" dem ist nichts mehr hinzu zu fügen :-)

  • This is the best truck I ever see in my hole life !!

  • wow one word! awesome! thats one of the coolest things ive seen do we have anything like that in america? i dont think wedo

  • You can still buy them used here in scandinavia. There's one parked right down the street of me...

  • How much does a USED 6WD cost with AMERICAN MONEY? We got 2 types of Custom made 4X4 TRUCK mounted on tank treads,The recent FAD is mounting Tank Treads at the axles where wheels used to be just for show-(& WORTHLESS,Those showtrucks will never be able to go OFFROAD like these 6WD TRUCKS does) But in the 1980s-USA had MONSTER TRUCK**TANK COMPETITIONS** where military tanks and Treaded Personel Carrier chassis was bolted with a trucks body,Making those trucks A TRUE OFF-ROADER VEHICLE >=)

  • They are called deuce and a half's here in the USA. The Army has them.

  • a volvo 6x6 is NOT a deuce.5

  • The US army drives deuce and a halfs.

  • the term "deuce and a half" traditionally refers only to the M35 supply truck, not just ANY 2.5ton military vehicle. a volvo 6x6 is not a "Deuce and a Half."

  • deuce and a halfs were manufactured by the Kyser Jeep corporation in the 60's and 70's as troop transporters / supply truck. some were manufactured during WW2 and manufacturing halted in the late 70's but were still used up until desert storm.

    there's a difference between deuce&half and a swedish 6x6

  • Can you please explain further the DRIVE-TRAIN "Difference" between the Deuce & a half as like...Does it NOT have 6 W D? That info is what people really want-A 6 Wheel Drive Chassis that STILL can be BOUGHT AS USED(*People never learn buying stuff NEW is what-(PUN ALERT)-DRIVING USA ECONOMY UDER(what very little of it is left!)

  • yes yes i can

a m35 has a larger multi-fuel/diesel six-cylinder engine. the frame is very heavy duty with a large bed that also acts as a troop carrier with fold down benches that also act as side rails for larger cargo. with a locking front differtial and dual rear axels that are full locking and massive leaf spring susspension it can articulate quite well for such a large vehicle. with a 12 inch differantial housing it is no wimp either all the axles on the m35 are the same size. . . . . . .

  • Ok-U said that FRONT DIFFERENTIALS ARE LOCKING,so those m35 can be said to be a actual 6WD then? Thats where that classic engineering comes in =)on that locking differential front-rear end. Can U post a video of these M35 of HOW people LOCK those differentials to climp obsticles and UNLOCK in action? That video would be very interresting for us OLSCHOOL Off-road AWD Enthusiests-I hated 1980s-up 4WD drive-trains which uses INDEPENDANT WHEEL TRACTION instead of like older FULL TIME 4WD POWER model

  • well for that yer gonna have to wait till mid spring cuz my other property with the truck is snowed in.

as for the awd thing i recomend a 1991-1997 landcruiser with e-lockers from the factory, there full-time 4WD and 1991-1992 they had a center trans case locker but all of the 80 series have the conector to have center lock. 1993-1997 had full floating axels and quiet a few had electronic locking diffs which are awesome and they have a very large backing + many upgrades to be had

  • Helllll No....I wouldnt go anywhere near those newer mid-1980s through to 90's STAR TREK AWD TECH WRECKS. No electronics to drivetrain for me(Except maybe a MODIFIED Electronic CRUISE CONTROL*retro-Fitted* to these classic Relics =) But yeah, people LOVE 1960 BACK *AWD TRUCK*, Few of those Early 1980's was the very last of these MECHANICAL DRIVETRAINS. Even this newer generation is seeing how fast Electronic Transmissions tears up compared to those OLDSCHOOL MECHANICAL types-Go offroad in relic

  • I talked to one of the engineers behind the construction of this car. He told me Volvo tried to sell it to U.S.Army and they answered there is no need for it, they already had the jeep and GMC6x6.

That year they ordered a new construction which became the Hummer...8 years later...

I was driving the 20seats troop transport variation of this car in the army, even more capable of climbing but the 130hp L6 petrol engine was very thirsty...

  • Volvo didn't have a suitable diesel like the TD40 at the time of construction (late60's)...

  • When I go to army I get to drive these things =) Awesome what they`re capable of

  • you will never drive this in the USA

  • Your point is?

  • when you go into the Army you will never drive one?

  • What do you mean by that?

  • unless youre in the Swedish Army.

  • Ok, no am not, but it would be fun ;) this type is such a beast.

  • @flight2k5 -Wrong lots off them allredy in US. -I gote one 4 sale...

  • @GamelsmurfXXX Not in the U.S. Military

  • @flight2k5 -Tru not ewen in Swedich army anny longer, but i was regarding to that u can find them in use as Surplus second hand if u prefear as used car.. Thx 4 repl

  • holy shit...where can i get one of these and how much?!?!?!?!?

  • i have been driving 1 in the english air force they will go anywhere and there comfortable as well

  • Nice. I couldn't see clearly, did that have portal axles?

  • Yes it does have portals!!

  • wow, impressive ! some difficult terrain there !

  • and for that size weight of a truck... damn impresive

  • What are PORTAL AXLES on a All W heel Drive vehicle? With the exception of those USA 6WD CEMENT MIXER TRUCKS using Military truck chassis very commonly seen in public, I havnt seen anybody else MODIFY a 6WD using a LIFT KIT(jacked up)& Dual SIDE PIPES for Serious AMPHIBIOUS RV FUN

  • Pretty cool.
