UPDATE: It has been tested with moonjumps and DOES NOT get a lap count. Sorry guys. I would add annotations but the vid seems to not be working this morning :(
I could try bullet bike too or mach but I think the first checkpoint is very very early, before the fence finishes possibly. Maybe with a bounce from the pole but that would make it Koopa Cape difficult.
Yes, but you can skip to the last checkpoint providing you pass no others first and get a lap count. That's also been known for ages, and you can see it on MG, GV and WGM.
@A6b49 Well if that is the case then you either had a "always count lap" code on OR you didn't jump from the same place as this person, since the first key checkpoint is on the hill just before the steep drop - if you pass that key checkpoint then you also have to pass all the others in the correct order to count the lap
at least you tried

I tried this so many times. It doesn't work. No matter what. I've tried Spear too. I started trying the day that glitch with hacks was found.

The 1st checkpoint is at the 1st corner. That's been known for ages.

I didn't say you couldn't do that. I said you couldn't make it.

Actually it's not. If you fall off of that hill, it takes you back up to the top of the hill. That means thats the first check point

i dont think the lap would register, sorry (you leave the 1st checkpoint range)
