Holy cow. :) I was blessed enough to do an exchange with this school just recently. We were all amazed at this. It's even more incredible with costumes. I about passed out when one of the guys did that high note. I was very amazed!!
Wait. I was an apprentice last year, aka-my freshman year, and if anything I'd say it was the reason I was an apprentice My vocals are alright, especially comparatively.
the statues are called "apprentices" which are people who aren't good enough to make it into powerhouse dancewise but have good vocals i love watching burroughs but that whole idea is rather degrading
not true at all. One of last years apprentices is actually one of powerhouses front row dancers and dance specialists. And she could have done it last year as well. For sure not only a dancing thing...
ok, so ya, not what the apprentices are... really what they are are the kids that were right on the cusp of making powerhouse. They were the next highest scores. They learn the songs and dances all through the year..in fact one of the apprentices was moved into Powerhouse when we lost one of the guys. some are stronger dancers some are stronger singers......last years apprentices were the clowns...year before that, they were the trees....
I miss performing this set SO FREAKING MUCH

umm I'm an apprentice and if anything my dancing skills definitely make Powerhouse...but my singing is just alright

i was an apprentice last year too but my vocals needed work.
my dancing is fine.
but it all depends on the person.
and grimm525 is right. jen and jenning have their reasons.
