Well, so far, there sonic, streets of rage, Golden Axe, Gunstar heroes, Toejam & Earl, Shinobi, Comix Zone, Ristar, and a bunch of others. I have no idea of the phantasy star characters, but Cameleon and Alex will make the roster in the future.

I suggest :

-Alis Landale, swordswoman and healer, main heroin of PS (1). All other main heroes of PS are swordsmen.

-A claw-ist female character. It's recurent : Nei (PS2), Mieu (PS3), Rika (PS4). But since Nei is the first clawist, the first Numan, and the one who have the most interesting role, I suggest her.

-Wren, the gunner cyborg from PS3 and 4. Great role in both games.

-Laya, archer, mage and princess from PS3. She gots a great role in the game.

Yeah, I'm not too familiar with phantasy star, but I did rent the one for Xbox360, it was pretty tight.

Eternal Champions looks like a Boring-ass game..In MK, its very fast paced gameplay and you have to strategize more in MK to beat good opponents..MK 3 was the best

eternal champions is much harder than mk, you cant spam projectiles as you have a meter, there are no easy "hadouken" motions as all are charge based, taunting lessens your opponents special meter. MK's strategy isnt more in depth, it was just more mainstream like street fighter.

"Boring-ass"? You've never watched--or played--Eternal Champions before, obviously.

Besides, I HATE those "fast-paced" fighting games with the speed cranked up to 11. Nothing encourages blind charging and button-mashing like those games do, because they all boil down to "whoever attacks first, wins". Moderately paced fighting games give you better reaction time and more time to set up special moves or combos, thus less blitzkrieging and turtling.

I'm gonna post a dissenting opinion to all the rest here and say Eternal Champions > Mortal Kombat. Easy. The overkills were way better and more disturbing than any MK fatality, and EC's gameplay was better and more balanced. Don't get me wrong, I love MK, but EC was FANTASTIC.

A lot of gliched up moves from the MK guys, they keep making the EC characters float and get stunned by force out of thin air. I want to see the EC finishers.

The only EC Characters that have finishers are RAX and Xavier. Xavier's kinda sucks, and for some reason RAX's Vendetta doesn't work most of the time.

Yeah, there wasn't really any AI for most MUGEN characters back then, hence why Ermac ran through RAX and Trident.

As for the swinging attack, I'm not really familiar with most Eternal Champions attacks, but is it the one where Larcen goes off screen and swings back in at his opponent?

Well, at least you're asking about the game, not what the game is.

It's basically a customizable fighting game engine type thing. People make stages and characters and lifebars and stuff for it, and you can put it in your game and customize it anyway you please. If you need any more info, check out mugeninfantry. net or randomselect.i-xcell. com
