If Elisabeths picture had been widely published since her release, she would never have been able to attend Fritzls trial. The fact that she did secretly attend despite a picture of her and her family potentially been worth $1million, saw Fritzl breakdown upon realising she was there, is remarkable. That alone should give her some encouragement and comfort.
