As much as I support the idea of saving the american rainforests, I just do not trust any product with name starting with "eco". Not to say that I DIStrust it, but I need more information than what the company feeds me.
It's just so easy these days to market anything just by slapping a green "eco" sticker on the box.
So they found a way to force us clicking on ad-links.
First, rainforest is destroyed to cultivate fields. How do you replant (do you have any seed? ) on private fields? Expulsing poor people?
Second, you should know white color on screen is more energy-eater.
Third, Google is more eco, numerising books, maps and pictures all over the world.
Sorry pals, all I see here is a website using shitty engines like bing and yahoo, asking you to click on ads to make money for a good goal (so they say). :|
The point is that they donate their profits to protecting the rainforests. Beyond that, it doesn't really matter what the other search engines do - and they obviously wasted their time explaining carbon footprints to you all anyways.
Anyone who says 1 lightbulb doesn't make a difference is a coward and afraid of accepting at least SOME responsibility. Just because the big bad guys are worse doesn't mean you have to stop caring (not that you ever did).
