The largest major city near you is San Francisco, and that is 5 hours away. I know prices Arcata CA start in the $500 range, which the contest prize will comepletly cover. If you can drive to San Francisco then you can get a flight for as cheap as $339.60. Just a tip for all try to find major airpirt to catch flight you will be able to reduce the price of your ticket.

Where in CA are you? In doing my research for posting this contest I can get an airline ticket from most major US cities and some canadian cities for $350 USD or less. If my prize does not completely pay for your ticket then it will at least offset your cost.
