I remember Larry Jon singing in my living room some 20 years ago, or so. He had the ability to make you think he was talking to just you. That feeling when I hear him, is in my chest and there just aren't words to describe how much I am blessed for having known him. He's an Angel that visits frequently...
I learned today that Larry Jon has died. He was a friend of a friend, and his first album played a big part in helping me through a tough time. May he rest in peace.

Larry Jon is great but he isn't 72. He will be 68 in October. I know because we have been friends since he was four year old.

I saw Larry play in London last night. Still amazing at 72. Great new songs and chats about Kristofferson. Everyone should get his new album.
