I am very outgoing and can easily take control of a room full of loud people; but reading, or singing in public makes me very nervous, if I can adlib or memorize a speech them I am fine.
I believe this is because I played lots of team sports; but always avoided reading in front of the class. I have mild Dyslexia and can read fine, but my writing is not so good, I believe this is why I am self conscious about it.
I can sing or play an instrument in public but only as a group.
Hmm you are somewhat like me then. I'm also a very silent person, normally.
It's somewhat interesting. If I listen to conversations, i'm far less likely to misunderstand or miss parts of the conversation than many others.
Especially in school I am/was somewhat silence (which might not have been that good in class) but which was also a positivet hing if people wanted to so some shit in class. I knew that they were to get caught - so I mostly never did things like that.
Everything you said could have come straight out of my mouth.

I was pretty quiet in school, too. I wasn't quiet with friends, but with other students who weren't friends, I wouldn't say much.

My parents knew it about me. I did well in school, so it wasn't a problem. However, they always thought I was too shy.
