Conservative64, I guess I could be Liberal78. Political views and ages aside, I grew up on this kind of singing, I was blessed enough to be born into a family that not only loves the old hymns, but sung them to me in the cradle. This is the way gospel music is supposed to be. I hope to pass the love I have for these songs to my children.

This brings back memories of sittin in the pew with my grandparents as a child in Olivet Methodist church in Riversburg, Tn (Giles County) ..there were about 20 people in that little congregation and only had preaching every other sunday and an Old upright piano but we sure sang this old song...
