I'm so happy I found this video! I was just thinking that flat twists with bantu knots would give me the look I want since the bantu knot outs haven't been working for me. I'd love to see a tutorial from you, but until then, I'll give it a try and see how it works out! Thanks for posting!! :)

finally! some1 with a recent video! i get so discouraged sometimes because i see ppl with nice long looking natural hair and my hair is nowhere near that cuz i just started going natural and still have some relaxer. Its nice to see someone going natural NOW and not 3 years ago. It makes me feel like im not the last one on the gravy train. lol. But anywho I love the flat twist out I may have to try it. Tho my hair is significantly shorter than yours, I hope it looks as nice as yours! :)

I hope it comes out cute too. The good thing about this style is it works on a variety of hair types and lengths so I'm sure it'll still come out fine when you do it.

I love the flattwist out the best and I wear it when I wear my transitioning hair out. I do a Bantu knot on the ends with the flattwist.

Thanks and I agree. The second day I wore it is was a lot looser and bigger so I was happier with it. Next time I think I'll do the twists bigger because I can't feel completely fabulous rocking it without a little bit of volume. lol

I don't worry about hair types, so I haven't looked into which ones I have. But I have a lot of different textures so I'm sure I fit into more than one category.
