are you jsut using a mic and the kaoss pad? or what else do you use? cause i wanna buy a kaoss pad aswell so i kind of need to know what i need to buy with the kaosspad thanks
@giuliabellohotmail i think I was sending the line out to my mbox (a recording unit) and then plugging the headphones into that and listening to it. Did you mean you can't hear the samples with the headphone in the kp3 headphone jack though? Because that can happen if the switch in the back is set to 'send'
@officialTMNchannel you can use the line outs at the back, connect a rca/phono 3.5mm to a line in on your pc, then use a free program like audiograbber to record it as 'line in sampling'. Or you can download the Kaoss Pad software from korg, and connect the pad to pc via a usb 'printer' cable and grab the individual samples you've just recorded (great for getting loops for stuff)
hello i beatbox alot and i am just wondering what equipment will i need to use for the kaoss pad 3. i think all i need is a mic and just connect it to a sound system am i right ?
@conradrummer yeah that can do 4 track sampling and add some effects to samples but I think it's more limited in that department than kp3, but of course with that you get the super awesome intrumental stuff as well
@TreeManTM glad it was helpful, yeah some of the stuff like say Beardyman does is amazingly complex, with using two of them and his vocals he seems to be able to recreate any song with 16 beats or less per section (which is a great deal of modern music), though set to 74 bpm you can record 13.2 seconds per track which is a fairly large loop
@davidkeithbecket Yeah I've seen MastaMic from Russia's work, and his compilations are amazing. This kinda inspires me to go out and buy me one of those, lol.
@themirrorshattered yeah they are the sample buttons which you use to record onto and then they loop. you can also resample onto one of them whatever is currently playing and thus build infinitely.
y a pas à se tordre du cul pour remarquer que tu es un surdoué de la musique ! et tu as bcp de mérite ! car toi tu travailles avec ton CORPS et ton esprit ! :)))) BRAVO !!!

@sk8gravy 4. You can also resample whatever is playing so can build on top of.

Nice vid you got here, gave me a good idea how the Kaoss pad works. Shit looks really complex when people are making crazy drums n bass tracks.
