I think it's probably because Umbrella is spying on IM networks (check Umbrella Chronicles, monitors behind Wesker in Umbrella's End) and didn't like my telling people of their locations, as well as the real Raccoon, Rockfort and so-on...

@drago2021 You have no idea, the glitch also affected error messages from having the red error cross to the Umbrella logo as well and it would constantly tell me "Unknown Error" and the biometrics, facial and vocal security systems would also start popping up with unknown error windows as well.
What's more scary, would be if my laptop does it in the real Raccoon (which also has Umbrella).
