yea u can play it at the same comp. just separate the folders. that means wen u finished downloading the game client and the rest of the things u need to play the priv server, simply make a new folder, labeled watever u wan to name it, and just drag ur priv server and the version into the new folder. now u dun have to worry if ur private server affects the original ms. hope this helps(:

@KilalaReno oh wow it doesn't matter....

right click the thing and then there will be some things you can press..press the button that says run as... or run as administrator then you pick which administrator you want to use.

if some of them don't work then try the main administrators password and then it should work. And if it doesn't well thats your problem.

well, when i downloaded a private server, I copied the maplestory folder and pasted it so I had 2 maplestories and used one folder for the private server and the other one for the normal maple.

i found out the problem and how to fix it. all you have to do is download the v62 of maplestory and drag the destinyMS file into the maplestory v62 file then click on Destiny MS and you'll be playing,

this is an out of date video made more than a year and a half ago. this server he is using is most likely shut down. also, you need v62 and more .wz files, which is a pain and i can't quite figure it out either. try another server is all i can say for now.

you have to uninstall your current ms file thingy. then download what version you want. you should be able to uninstall it in your computer's control pannel

Yes u have to delete gms first then reinstall but u cannot reinstall gms after u install the private server because the v55/62 ms will automatically update and therefore u will not be able to play the private server, and the maplestory tht u downloaded will have errors, so its a lose/lose situation if u download gms when u already have a v55/62 maplestory
