  • i got a 90

  • @stevenbohorquez92 - Congrats!!

  • I want to go into the World Languages job but I'm afraid I might not score high enough on the asvab to qualify for it. I don't know what the score requirements are for that job but if I don't get that job, I would like to have a job where I will be able to travel to disaster areas of the world and help and aid the people there. Which job would allow me to do that?

  • @hfflpffchaser55 - Just about any job in the Navy can help you do that, but I'd say coreman would be the best choice for something like that.

  • hey andy, yes the part where you said that applicants need a 50 or more to be eligible to sign is true. my recruiter and a cheif came to my station and was talking about it.

  • @bj0ker123 - Yeah, since we're over-manned for the most part (from what I'm hearing), it's just another way to narrow down the applicants so we can find higher caliber recruits. At least, that's the idea.

  • my recruiter said that there is a different and more difficult bootcamp to go through if you are doing some kind of special forces. like you still go to great lakes but you are seperated from the regular navy people and put into a place where the seals, swcc, eod, airr , and divers go. is that true?

  • @anthonybigdawgs - I do know that they're put on a separate ship, but I'm not sure if they go through a different boot camp than the rest of us.

Logically, it would make sense to have the SEALS go through a tougher boot camp, but I dunno for sure.
