  • Does anyone hear a goat?

  • 'Ida called you woody, joe' is about the clash - equally amazing - this is the poeticism and driving sound that rock music has been desperate for

  • i'm not sure why but i find this song incredibly moving

  • dig the way dude rocks the tele

  • When did Bruce get tatts? Lol! Heard of these guys through Social Distortion.

  • @iantheman26 Ha! EVERYBODY had influences. That Springsteen has played with him--Bruce would likely correct your thinking.

  • my brother gave benny those sticks for that show

  • So, in this band's catalog, I hear: The Band; a couple Seegers; Dylan; Bruce; Westerberg; Petty; The Alarm; The Cure.......I like what I hear.

  • @ttraynor1 ...and a little Counting Crows :) LOVE all of the above! these guys are great!

  • @ttraynor1 and a little gin blossoms. :)

  • @ttraynor1 And a little bit of Social D.

  • @ttraynor1 dont forget the clash ;)

  • @ttraynor1 Points for mentioning the Alarm...I hear a lot of that as well.

  • @guitar87x

I say the same my son found them on youtube and now both him and me listen to them all the time,

    They are really amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is better than the letterman show.

  • greaaaaat!

  • ive always wondered who johnny is, cause brian fallon mentions him in a lot of songs(angry johnny and the radio) and in this he says " Did u hear ur favotite song johnny one last time" in the last verse, and i know this song is about his friend dying in a car crash so.....?

  • @dropanddrive2816 he mentions johnny a lot, i feel like johnny is not a person but a personification of his own youth

  • that could be, but it seems like brian fallon writes very real, straight foward songs. if this was brand new, it might be different, but who knows, he is a very talented singer/songwriter, and is capable of anything

  • he has a friend named angry johnny so yes it is a real person. a lot of his songs are about real people granted, but many of the girls names (maria, mary, sally, etc) are just names for the girls he's encountered in life

  • im thinkn maria is someone more than just an aquaintence, he mentions her alot, along with virginia

  • @dropanddrive2816 in one of the songs on the ep he says "Call every girl we ever met Maria

But I only love Virginia's heart" So i think that maria is just a conglomeration of women where as Virginia is but one of the many women that comprise maria.

  • idk man, it could be, but who really knows for sure? brian fallon does

  • @dropanddrive2816 In an interview Brian said something like "Maria is every woman and she is no woman".

  • really? thts cool, i really want brian fallon's coffeehouse sessions when he was 15 with his band the dimestore saints ( which is mentioned in the navesink banks)

  • @blaznblue angry johnny is a bob dylan reference not one of brians friends

  • @THINK178 its about brians friend who is a dylan fan. his name is johnny, therefore its both a dylan reference, and also the name of a friend. i can guarantee you this.

  • i remember this was the first time i heard gaslight, on conan about a year ago. haven't stopped listening to them since. thanks for posting this vid.

  • sick, great song.

  • is this louie barlettas account?
