ive always wondered who johnny is, cause brian fallon mentions him in a lot of songs(angry johnny and the radio) and in this he says " Did u hear ur favotite song johnny one last time" in the last verse, and i know this song is about his friend dying in a car crash so.....?

that could be, but it seems like brian fallon writes very real, straight foward songs. if this was brand new, it might be different, but who knows, he is a very talented singer/songwriter, and is capable of anything

he has a friend named angry johnny so yes it is a real person. a lot of his songs are about real people granted, but many of the girls names (maria, mary, sally, etc) are just names for the girls he's encountered in life

But I only love Virginia's heart" So i think that maria is just a conglomeration of women where as Virginia is but one of the many women that comprise maria.
