Talk to midwives in your area. My homebirth midwife will see any mother who was able to get pregnant naturally. The midwife I saw in the hospital for my first birth was only able to see healthy mothers under age 35 due to hospital regulations.
I depends on your overall health and if you have a low risk pregnancy. It is best to talk to a midwife about your options. I have known a number of "older" moms give birth at home or at a birth center.
Beautifully done. Brought me to tears. Her last slide was almost word for word the mantra I repeated to myself during my VBAC 4.5 hour labor that brought me my beautiful baby girl. It works!! ;)
Good video! I like that it encourages the "naturalness" of the childbirth process and upholds that as a wonderful thing. It's great that you include links at the end to give viewers a head start on researching other birth options available besides hospital births.
This is a really interesting documentary, really made me think about the other birth options that are out there that I had never even considered. While I'm not planning on having children for a few years, it was a great insight into home birth and made me question the social expectations that I take for granted in a whole range of areas. I also agree that the music is wonderful
thank you all very much
keep up the great gorgeous work
