  • dude you didn't titen up one of the screws propley thats y eli go BOOM BOOM!!!

  • I had exactly the same happen on my CX. Hadn't put loctite on the screws going into the feathering shaft. Main rotor separated midair. Both blades few out about 5 metres from the heli.

After that i pay attention to fly at least 20 metres from other people

  • What wasnt locktied? "u didn't lock the blade grip screw?" I think they are nylock nuts if i recal.

I stripped my frame down when I got the kit as none of them had locktite in.

You gotta strip it all down and make sure!

  • this is not a common occurrence folks

  • what happened?

  • how much it cost to fix?

  • Actually it wasn't too bad since he wasn' that bad. The blades were ok actually and only the boom was a little bit bent so we just bent it back to shape. All in all, just needed a feathering spindle bolt which of course was lost.

  • thats not to bad then but nice video lol

  • ur lucky u didnt have the blade going to u.

u didn't lock the blade grip screw?

  • Thank goodness it wasn't on a nitro 600 or even better a 90 raptor! The blades on those things are like 2x4s.

  • Ahhhh thats harsh?
