Thanks for posting your photos it is so great to remember all those who serverd. My dad also served with 419 Moose squadron. I have started a website dedicated to the war years and the people and planes that were part of the Moosemen legacy. Would like to add your collection to the site if you care to. 419squadronbewarethemoose
First Remembrance Day without you dad....I am lost and not sure how I am going to get thru the day. I will be going up to the CWHM to honour you and the Lanc is going to do a fly by (weather permitting so Im counting on you to make that happen)....miss you so much dad....you are my eternal hero and since you've been gone, my world is a much sadder place. I love you so so much...x0x0x0x0x
Hurrah for the superb Canadians! Many many thanks Canada for supporting Britain from the very start of WW2 without any hesitation, or conditions. It is Britain's great fortune to have such a superb & formidable ally. I have pictures of a RCAF memorial cairn on Great Carrs ridge in the Lake District. The cairn is dedicated to the crew of an RCAF Halifax which crashed during a training flight in Dec 44. Please feel free to msg me & will email the pictures to any Canadians who want them. RESPECT!
dad, all these years later, you continue to demonstrate courage and bravery and a determination to win the biggest of battles. I am so proud of you, and I love you.
