  • greatest voice in rock r.i.p brad ur music will live on

  • I had the chance to see the opening 'Corporate America' tour. EVERY song sounded,of course, flawless and perfect. R.I.P. Mr. Delp, you and your incredible talent will be missed

  • ZOMG! Rock Band is gonna have a Miley Cyrus track pack. :,-(

  • the other band members' harmonies didn't sound that great live...but then again it's hard to top mother effing Brad Delp, may he rest in peace

  • @StephenHardyMusic The one the only! But am happy I will have a chance to see Boston I never have and want to so bad!

  • I've always loved hearing Brad Delp singing harmony with himself :)

  • So beautiful in every way. Will never forget Spring 1990, leaving upstate New York for California, my guitars and amps in the trunk. Driving out of Ithaca with Cayuga lake on my left, this comes on the radio. It was like God talking to me. Ahh, youth, hope, and the expression of great music.

  • amazing music the harmony and lyrics makes you wanna close your eyes and float away.

  • i wasnt even around for most of the 90s and I love this song!!!!!! I HATE that (c)rap noise.

  • @HolyHandGrenade797 This was in th 70's

  • some of the best RR ever recorded. bosten is king.

  • 1. Boston

  • sweet song it owns

  • i love the harmony. boston rulez.

    1. queen

    2. boston

    3. beatles

    4. led zepplin

    5. van halen

  • how bout the who?

    good stuff

very good taste in music though

  • i saw them in concert 12th row o ya

  • gives me goosebumps everytime!!!

  • This is quite an amazing song. The solo(s) just blow me away every time.

  • no

    sorry

  • Yeah Boston is pretty wicked cool ;-) .... If you like this I think you'll also like the Roy Orbison DLC pack. Roy Orbison is a huge staple of Rock and Roll.

  • Scholz was such a master at incorporating beautiful melodies into a hard rock format. Boston will never be forgotten because of the quality of their songs.

  • THIS SONG RULES!!!

  • Tom Scholz wrote this song, not Brad Delp, so this song isn't an early sign or whatever you're all trying to say

  • Musicaly brilliant! ALL Boston songs!!

  • Except Foreplay/Longtime, though.

  • are u kidding?? thats one of their best!

  • dude i dont think rock band would put a bad song... except for some, but not from Boston!

  • I like the live 88 version that of which one was removed under related. It was better than this, but this is the cleanest version via studio I can find. Thanks :D

  • amazing solo

  • I second that. Just heard this song for the first time today and it rocked my socks off.

  • suicidal? what human would do that in their 50's??? .oo2%? if anyone can live over 50, without killing themselves, they can deal with anything. they have seen it, heard it, done it and lived with it.

  • Brad Delp didn't write this song. So, your argument is retarded.

  • suicidal is relative you know, and often ppl like 2 be funny and put it in happy songs....which this person rite here gets a MAJOR kick out of!!!!! HELL YEAH!!!!

  • fineally, the original track. 1976 debut, this has to be the best RR album of all time. every song is good on this album, compared to that crap garbage (they call music) on the radio now days. i've heard this album at least 10k times, and it still sounds good.

  • my favorite solo ever

  • Thanks to BOSTON I love rock and roll..Without a doubt this band is in the top three of all times..Magnificent music, great lyrics, perfect group, outstanding songs..What else can you ask for???...This song is an absolute beauty!!!

  • Ahhhh 1976! What a year for music! This album was THE party album. Remember those crazy

70's house parties? Scituate Massachusetts was one rock'in old New England town.

  • ironicly the lead singer killed himself weird

  • that isn't ironic. Thats what happened

  • do you even know what ironic means

  • Of course I do, but the song is obviosusly sucidial, so him killing himself is not ironic when taken in this context. If it was a happy song and he commited sucide then perhaps, your comment would make more sense.

  • im pretty sure what he said was ironic.

you guys are thinking of an oxy moron?

    im not sure

  • "Unintentionally Suicidal". Just let the phrase sink in.

  • Boston is flipping epicly...epic!

  • is this song about killing yourself?

  • iVE TAKEN IT THAT WAY AND WILL WHEN i DO IT--YEARS FROM NOW AND ILL BE LISTENING TO THIS!

  • The awesome solo sction in this song makes this the best Boston tune

  • I so agree!!!

  • Hey Rock Bandage, thanx for puttin this original stuff on, if it wer'nt for people like you we'd never hear it Man thanx again.

  • Second-best song ever by Boston!!

  • What's 1st?

  • Isn't it obvious?

  • More than a feeling?

  • Of course! It's only one of the best rock songs of all time!

  • What about Foreplay/Longtime? :( third?

  • Probably. Either that or Piece of Mind.

  • Agreed.

  • Everything Boston has made is amazing..Best rock and roll I've ever heard..We all have different tastes but Boston is pure magic..

  • i like peace of mind a bit more than this one

this one is tied for second with more than a feeling after them i like long time

  • Thanks for posting the album version of this song. This has always been my favorite Boston song, and one of my favorite "guitar" songs. The last minute and a half of the song is pure instrumental gold.

  • One of the best songs by Boston, the skill these guys have is just amazing, some new bands need to take some notes and they might learn something.

  • I work in radio, and I don't understand why my collegues dubbed this "corporate rock". Such an insult. this was one fine and hard working band.

  • Phuck, I miss Brad. RIP brother.

  • Great music is timeless.

  • My favorite Boston song.Saw Boston WAAAY back in the 70's at the Spectrum in Philly, with The Cars as an opening act.Great show then and I expect another great one this summer at the Trop.

  • There simply isn't a band alive today who would attempt this kind of song. Three - not two - three guitars in tandem at the end. No vocals... just harmonic jamming, and incredible sound. Today, they'd have to be yelling something, or "filling" with completely unnecessary riffs. This is just pure and classic brilliance.

  • That is a fact.

  • Um, hmm, so Dragonforce is just no one then? Give them time and they might do it, sir.

  • by far the best boston tune hand's down and one of the greatest dual guitar solo's ever laid down even better than the eagle's hotel california YES I SAID IT!!

  • Thank you so much for posting! Timeless classic, awesome arrangement!

  • Im not gonna die in no nurcin home--and this will be the one im listening to when i do it!!WHILE THE SUN GOES DOWN AT THE END OF A BEAUTIFUL DAY---this will be the cd or what ever is popular at that time this will be the song they find in my PLAYER. SIGNED P.E.G.

  • I got this on 8 track, played it so much that it wouldn't play anymore, went straight out and bought another one without hesitation, now after 30 years, several cassettes and now on cd, these songs still give me goose bumps when I hear them

  • mabey next step is mp3? haha boston rocks, i remember me and my friend looking at his older brothers records and seeing this band and laughing at their picture because of the clothes they were wearing, it wasnt until years after that, that we both realized how great the music was.

  • i first remember buying this album in late 77 and been totally blown away , (headphones full volume) not since Deep Purple In Rock , some 4 years earlier had an album''rocked my socks off''like this one

  • I hate this generation, I'm considered an outcast just because I listen to rock music, and wear what ever I want to wear instead of whatever is considered "cool" or "popular". I so which I was grew up in the generation when this was considered good music. damn pop-culture generation, making everyone FUCKING POSERS, SLUTS, AND IDIOTS!!!

    D:<

  • this is still considered incredible music by intelligent people

  • yes sir.

  • You hit the nail on the head right there. Excellent music is timeless.

  • @metriodfreak999 Hells ya bro! I would give up a nut to live in the 70's! Zepplein,Aerosmith,Black Sabbath,BTO,BOSTON!, and so many many many kick ass bands that made fuckin kick ass good music!

  • @metriodfreak999 WAAAH WAAH WAAH!!!!!!!

  • Wow! Thank you so much for putting up this song - I have been searching for it for over a year and it's finally here!! This song brings back so many bittersweet memories for me!

  • I like Boston the Band but I do not like the vegetarian thing. GOD then ANGELS then US then ANIMALS. TOO easy! SONG IS BAD, Elvis of my day was 'wild' hahahah!

  • you're a moron

  • You are a moron for buying the preconceived and payola notions of these dumbass surveys that often fail to tell people about the poisoning of our supplies of herbs, grains, fruits, vegetables, and nuts. Seriously, do some damn thinking instead of letting PETA or some other dumbass corporate types do it for you. You have no idea just how negative of an impact that vegetarianism is on the planet, and woe be to anyone who dares to show the world the hypocrisy of the vegetarians!

  • what?

  • The band is awesome, most of their songs are 'bad-ass' (meaning great) but they are pro-vegetarian. Damn shame, a steak or pork-chop is hard to beat. Classic rock that will never be matched! They should try tasty cooked animals though.HAHA

  • I'm sure idiot like most vegetarians, they've "tried" animal flesh but being the intelligent & compassionate men they are (& were) they decided to not contribute to the most unsavory animal abuse that exists in factory farms today. Not only are they brilliant musicians & songwriters, they also took the time to open their eyes to the world around them & chose not to live in a shallow box like you do. Please go out & educate yourself on such matters before writing such ignorant comments.

  • Well, why would you promote such ignorant comments when you know that the crap that makes animals sick can not only exist in them but also in vegetables, too? For example, did you hear about the reason why all of those tomatoes were destroyed only to find out that they were not the cause of the, what was it, salmonella outbreak, which usually is attrbuted to animals, too? I am sorry that the animals are mistreated but so are the vegetables in ways that vegetarians fail to see in their lives.

  • You have no idea who I am and what I believe and where my beliefs come from. You don't know what I "fail" to see or don't see so please don't put me into any categories of yours. This isn't the time or place to get into it. Boston and "Hitch a Ride" rules!

  • I do know what you fail to see because you are failing to see it right now and you also categorized me and you fail to see that in your narrow minded little life. Also, for one who is telling me that now is not the time nor place to get into such an argument, your words in those previous statements provide evidence to the contrary as "to not getting into it" as you so aptly put it in your life. I chewed out one vegehead troll on here and I will chew your ass out over your hypocrisy, too, miss.

  • The hole there is, if we are as willfully ignorant as you make us out to be, your argument would be falling mainly on deaf ears. Therefore you are indeed just another ignorant troll. ZING!

  • there coming to Winnipeg

  • What clear great sound on this video. It really

brings back a great feeling - Can anyone really

top these double leads? Fantastic. Boston can

clearly draw you out of the doldrums...Believe it!

  • the classic, boston one of the greatest classic rock and roll bands of all time

  • This is probably one of my favorite bands

  • what

where did they go????????? this was the very best part of our lives you guys. do you remember..yeah that's the advantage we have over the previous gen, we have realistic mwemories. that may suck tho.

  • You are so, so lucky that you lived in that time..So damn lucky. I would do anything to have lived back then..The 2000s suck, esp. to be growing up in. Sigh.

  • Yeah, but I had an older brother who grew up then and well, I am glad to live now, sir. Seriously, cartoons were kind of scattered all over the place and you were lucky to see them and you were practically a deity if you had an Atari 2600.

  • greatest. f'ing. band. ever. well, next to pink floyd for me, anyhow :)

  • just a thought i would add the words to it Ect.. just so they can sing to it but still good
