  • Mark Kerr legend!!!!

  • ya know... I don't think I would fuck with a prime Mark Kerr. Nope

  • One of the baddest man to step in the UFC octagon! How time flies.

  • 3:01 was a man in complete fear

  • this guy was a monster!

  • 3:21 is truly a sad image

  • all atheletes do steroids in some form. Look at Lance Armstrong. Most fighters don't have a long career in the UFC, unless you are Randy Couture.

  • @p1l well said ...I'm sick and tired ppl bringoing steroids into sport as its there all the way ...without steroids can u imagin how boring sport would be now lol

  • @jruth19 Ah all you nerds talking shit are not paying attention to the fact he fought more than ONCE in this epic brutal bloody dog era of mma. Your all fucking scared if anybody, not him.

  • makr was so good it was scary

  • Pues si seño. Muy bonito. La imagen que se da de las artes marciales es cojonuda viendo a esta panda de macarras. Pero al público le encanta y cuanta mas sangre, mejor :D ¡Que siga la fiesta!

  • haha "best fighter ever" how outlandish. he could have been better but he was scared going into his fights, he's said it himself. take away the juice and hes nothing, his career proved it and it was easy to see the decline. It was vivid and apparent with each fight he looked smaller and smaller with less muscle each time. true everyone else was juicing at the time but its obvious that the juice made him a force, without it he was average.

  • put this song on mute and play Cycling Trivialities. its pretty sick. great vid man

  • Steroids steroids steroids steroids steroids.

And then a premature unwinding at an early age.

Barely 40 and absolutely nothing left in the tank. It's not worth it.

  • @DanesFreedom the guy was a nubain addict...had jack shit to do with steroids

  • @DanesFreedom

roids? lol. a little more to it than that.

  • @DanesFreedom

Still, he's accomplished more and seen more than most people will do in two life times. I understand your point, but he is an impressive guy.

  • @Avalanche2 without a doubt a humble nice guy , with a big heart and he just let the demons get the best of him through drugs and women..truly sad and i wish nothing but the best for Mark..he is a good guy and deserves a great positive women and a happy life..hope he is at peace .

  • @DanesFreedom while im fairly sure he did use steroids, i think it was painkiller addiction which ruined him

  • Toledo OHIO product

  • you cant blame kerr or any of those guys for doing drugs, i mean look at the ufc back then. no rules at all, fucking crazy, back to back fights in one day, bare knuckle, knees, hair pulling, shamrock and gracie fought for 17 minutes straight, straight, it was crazy, now its career fighting but the guys are severely underpaid still, good sprot, but its boring and predictable as hell now

  • I think mark was a great fighter and a super nice guy. He just had a lot of inner demons that kept him from becoming his absolute best.

  • his fight with fabio gurgel was great man.

  • I remember watching a Documentry about MMA and the crew were mainly focusing on Colemen and Kerr..... can anyone put a name to it or am I just making things up? I'm wondering 'cause its what sparked my intrest in MMA and got me back to Judo.

  • @AmazingDeadThings

    Its called "The Smashing Machine"

  • Give us back the Audio.. Fuck WMG..

  • Kerr, lets meet up and go punch WMG in the face.

  • kerr was a great fighter but not the best. look at vovchanchyn vs him kerr was in his prime then

  • @book678903 Vovchanchyn used an illegal technique and Kerr waited for the ref to stop it. So what?

  • @LMW87MMA in the rematch vovchanchyn beat him again.

  • @book678903 in the rematch Kerr wasn't in his prime, it was yet another fight where kerr was in control until he gassed. He wasn't training because he had a ton of personal problems.

Kerr was the #1 Heavyweight in the world in his prime. Fighters were literally afraid of him. Watch his fights from his debut in 1997 until his fight with Enson in 1999. He was unstoppable. He dominated Enson not long after Enson had beat Couture. He was the lineal Champ

  • @LMW87MMA vovchanchyn also dominated enson completely, winning by a corner stoppage. vovchanchyn was #1 imo not to take anything away from kerr i think he was great in his prime.

  • no respect for drug takers.shame looks like a good guy.

  • What version of Turn the page was that??

  • i hate seeing where he ended up. Was the best ever and aught past his prime and the roids messed him up also. He was such a beast in his prime. I wish he never kept fighting past that. It ruins it for me

  • @Ilanactingreel Kerr was practically invincible in his prime and as you say messed up by the roids. Lets all try to remember Mark as he was12 years ago- because that's the real M.K. Out of respect for what he was, I've avoided watching any of the farcical 'comeback' bouts.

He came across in the Smashing Machine as a sensitive and intelligent person too.

  • @Napoleon40000

yea he is a big time inspiration. Few fighters have the ability and the humility to back it up. I see great fighters always comeback later on instead of contributing by coaching. You are right though I am gonna stick to watching old fights. They are better anyways

  • A true bad ass! From the cuse . What a great person. Stay real Mark. ZAZA

  • whats his ethnicity? is he part italian or native american? hes a bit on the dark side

  • @ArmyOfOne313 , his mother is black

  • @Napoleon40000 His mother was Puerto Rican and his dad was Irish with black in him I think.

  • @Jon839508 OK sorry if I got that one wrong.

  • @Jon839508 his father wasnt irish with black in him you idiot, his mother was african american and father caucasian.

  • @scarred10 his mother was white and his father was SCOTISH! no black

  • @popper504 the man is mixed race so one of them was black.Neither was scottish even though is a popular scots name.

  • such a waste of tremendous talent. woulda couda been 1 of the best ever certainly had all the tools to grow with the game. best of luck to mark kerr

  • just a Legend!

  • valla botella que eres :D

  • Mark Kerr was the best period! Drugs/Heroin was his down fall. Best ground and pound fighter of the millineium.

  • Excellent work, good video. Mark Kerr one of my favorite fighters

  • Kerr in his prime vs Fedor?? Who would win??

  • @Seeboi1989gabba Fedor

  • @jou1900 As easy as that? It would be a good fight thats for sure.

  • I was a huge fan of Mark Kerr, and followed his career. I personally think he was a great fighter.

  • there was no "before the drugs" ... this guy never fought clean .. he had more steroids in him than any bodybuilder and all the other stuff ... even if he would beat me up due pure size and strenght, i still have no respekt for him as a fighter .. ppl like him ruine that sport ..

  • audioswap

  • Mark works at a car dealership in Scottsdale Az. My fiance told me about this guy she was buying a car from who had a poster of himself on the wall and when she told me his name...I said..nah, couldn't be. But...ya, it was. Very nice guy.

  • mark kerr sem duvida um dos maiores porradores do mundo.nenhuma de suas lutas são chatas.muita força bruta e tecnica.

  • Kerr is probably the worst fighter ever. No talent, no game plan..just roids. Sad sad sad

  • @TechnoNor The only one sad here is you for trolling his video...if you think he's so terrible dont watch him. get a life loser

  • Was there a deal with his wife that he won't fight again?

  • I remember a tv documentary on mma that followed his battle with drugs and his wife's battle with booze. The situation was not good for Mark and it seemed lose-lose. I hope he gets over his problems, gets back into shape, and begins to train. I don't want to see him fight again.

  • All you can eat buffets can take out the top MMA fighters.

Nobody can kick ass on a good buffet.

We're only human. We all eventually give in to the buffet. Especially after 40.

I'd like to take Mark Kerr out for a big Mex all you can eat buffet and toast the old times.

    Hear, hear!

  • Lol at all the revisionist history assholes coming out of the woodwork. Kerr WAS unstoppable back then. It took Igor V. to stop him. By then the drugs abuse and emotional problems had taken their toll, and it was over. But you think Bas would have spent all those years coaching someone without skill? He had awesome takdowns, GnP like never seen before (when they had good rules and non of this no-headbutt no knees from side mount BS), and even a great right leg he never had to use.

  • This

  • No, he was NOT unstoppable. Igor won against him, as did Fujita.

If you have no real skills all the juice in the world won't help you.

  • noone is unstoppable, but I think he would have ended up having a better career if he would have taken his training more seriously

  • he sucked ass while he was on the juice too...he fought a bunch of nobodys. igor and fujita were the only big names he fought and lost to both. he was a big strong (juiced up ) wrestler with a lil submissions...the jap fans made him more than what he was.

  • Whats with all the roids haters. Have any of you taken roids? They dont make you a super athlete overnight, you have to work just as hard if not more. Being roided up isnt so advantageous for a fighter, with all the extra water in your muscles it restricts your range of motion, makes you slow and fatigue easier.

  • @anuwatBKK the worse thing about steroids is they make the new guys want to take steroids to compete with those who take steroids. Nothing to be proud of.

  • @anuwatBKK it does not add extra water to your muscles ,it adds extra muscle to your muscles, speeds recovery, increases drive and agression, increases special work capacity and even endurance to an extent.IT doesnt decrease range of motion .However, evryone that kerr fought when he beat them can be assumed to be using also since there was no testing.

  • Dawn was his kryptonite. She was bad for him. Is he still married to her?? He is a 40 yr old FAT man now still trying to fight. Wide waist, big belly. Doesn't look anything close to his old self. He sucks ass without being on the juice. He was unstoppable, the best fighter when he was all drugged up.

  • 100% true, it was hard to watch his last fight the condition he is in and getting his ass kicked. That Dawn girl was hot but what a cunt

  • awesome fighter

  • Kerr wanted to be a stupid star and guess what he did it!! LOL...... I went to school with him my fresh year he was a senior. Mark is about Mark. He was the biggest looser waste of time in MMA history. If he did not do JUNK he would have been a nobody just like he is today. Dude even made a DVD so he could cry baby into more money and shame. FUCK HIM

  • Not very bitter are you? Wonder where you'll end up at 40.

  • No, FUCK YOU! Ur just jealous 'cause he got all the chics as a senior, leaving u the only choice; ur demented, dirty underwear grandma, u fucking redneck!

  • lol you replied to the wrong person dipshit.

  • He might have not been a star but he sure is famous..and you what are you? your probably some fat ass who never graduated and lives with your mom

  • best freestyle wrestler in mma.

  • I knocked your mumma out at the strip club after she gave me a shitty strip tease..i only poked her once!

  • thats sounds about right for you...hitting women!...you sound like a skinny fucking prick with no balls.dickhead.

  • Tribute!?... Smash Machine, more like Juice Machine. Got to where he got by cheating. "The best my ass." The best don't need to cheat. Only cowards cheat because they are afraid to lose. Seen him lately ? Dam shame.

  • Roids is one hell of a drug.

  • I wish I could see a young healthy Mark Kerr take brok down and pound him out!!!

  • 2 bad he became a drug addict he was a great fighter

  • i worked last night with him at a strip club.. nicest guy ever.. my idol

  • Do you know him personally? I followed his whole career and in my opinion the best fighter ever just had some drug problems. Does he still live in Arizona? If you see him again ask him what the spider tattoos on his shoulder are because my wrestling coach had them on his shoulder and I never asked him.

  • @jahall50 Yes I would really like to know the meaning behind Mark Kerr's spider tattoo's. Great fighter. One of my favorites.

  • @jahall50 The dudes probably bullshitting man.

  • @jahall50 Just talked with him today he's still livin in scottsdale

  • @ssaenz11 I sold him some crack last night. He is a nice guy.

  • @JohnKreeseCobraKai Sure you did. Also your mom gave me a BJ.

  • @ssaenz11 strip joint? LOL!!!

  • @ssaenz11 Does he still work at the Infiniti Dealership?

  • @MrPrestige350 Yes sales executive

  • soul of a fighter!!!

  • He is the best i like him realy, he is so a nice guy definitly the Smashing Maschine and a Brock crusher no question. im sorry for him that his career go bad. a shame he is a real athlet!

  • markkerr was the greatest of all time, his career died because he hated what he did, he's not a macho tough guy, he's a person with a beautiful soul. when they brought in the rules it was no longer a real fight, markkerr was a real, REAL, fighter, once this happened he couldn't do it because it wasn't real, which is why UFC is now a total waste of time, wine about tactics all you want, kerr would litterally have ripped the skin off their face if it was REAL.

  • mark kerr randlemen mark colemen super juice heads

  • @gatewayz101 irrelevant. they were super fighters however

  • @gatewayz101 All would have been very short careers without the juice. Don't get me wrong I love taking the gear myself but it aint a fair fight when you're literally twice as strong as your opponent and you don't feel the pain when you're juiced to the eyeballs.

  • @gatewayz101 these guy are all test, tren ace, halo...

  • fuck you wmg

  • he was great fighter trust me other fighter used drugs during that peroid he used what was available

  • Mark was easily one of the best of his time! In top form (before the drugs) he was as feared as anyone and it's really a shame his career was cut short because who knows how far he would've gone? I love when people compare him to Brock!! Mark would have CRUSHED Brock! No question about it whatsoever!!!

  • THAT would be a match to see!

  • @phenom116 before the drugs? WTF you talking about he has been juicing hardcore from before he even started MMA.

  • @phenom116 You are right. BTW Brock is extremely overrated

  • @phenom116 i wish he would of stayed together because he was awesome when he was in his prime,

  • tremendo campeon!!!!!! vale lo que es....

  • Sick vid, i reckon u shuld watch it with "Coming Undone" by Korn, works well

  • This video contains an audio track that has not been authorized by all copyright holders. The audio has been disabled.--WHAT WANKERS. I LOVED THIS HL.

  • hey at 2:19 you see him with bas rutten

  • Mark was a monster in their time.Nobody want

fight with him.Fedor agaist Mark at top of the form, probably lose. The only can beated him is the gracie if they enter in the ring all togheter.Rickson, this man trasformer you in an hamburger.ha ha ha..

  • Btw this is the perfect song to go along with the vid. The first time I listened to the lyrics I thought it would be great for a tribute to "The Titan" :) Kudos.

  • Kerr was a f---ing God back in the old Pride/UFC days. Everyone was scared of him, espcially when MMA had decent rules like elbows & knees on the ground, headbuts, back-of-head punching, and tournament style events.

  • fuckin A. I think at least 3 of his opponents literally crawled out of the ring while he was on top of them, mutilating them. if you can kickstart the self preservation instinct in a mixed martial artist like that, you're a bad mutherfucker.

  • I want remember you that is the father of ground and pound. When mark start fight you probably are very busy with your baby napkin.

  • Mark Kerr is one of the best heavyweights of all time. Good tribute, bad music

  • Vovchanchyn was the first guy to really step into it, and HIT Mark Kerr. Sadly, Kerr's been a big pussy ever since.

  • Kerr was so drugged for that fight it wasn't funny. I think he could have beaten him had he not been. That was the time his addiction to painkillers started to catch up with him. He overdosed after that and had one good fight afterwards against Enson Inoue. The other fights he would just take people to the ground and hold them there. After they got stood back up he would do it again. That's not how you win fights and its not what the fans want to see.

  • He went to Pride and quit fighting like he had fought before. He stopped "smashing people" and just went for the submission. Then he put up a good effort against Igor Vovchanchyn and got a no contest, though he had quit training like he used to and wasn't prepared. It really went downhill from there.

  • blame his women...if kerr didnt fuck himself over there might actually be a challenger for fedor

  • no way!his game is far too limited to compete with todays fighters, his submission game is terrible

  • really...ever heard of the ADCC if not youtube it...its the best grapplers on the planet and Kerr was the heavyweight champ...and the way i was speakin i meant if he evolved with he sport..like randy...because Kerr was the Lesnar of his day...with sick submission skills and if he evloved with the sport he'd be a true great

  • Yeah! Didn't he submit Josh Barnett, in the ADCC?! I mean Josh is like, a really extremely qualified grappler!

  • you honestly can imagine mark kerr in the guard slapping on an uber slick fedor style armbar...dont think so...he can pull off the occasional keylock, THATS IT!

dont get me wrong hes a true great and i have unlimited respect for him but his game is so limited, bad stand up and bad submission but a great wrestler with amazing strength.

  • Your right...that was all true...well it was 10 years ago... if he had not pissed away his career and evolved with the sport as randy did he would have the tools to beat fedor. but he didnt because of his crazy gf.

  • another fedor nuthugger. fedors probably the best p4p in the world; that does NOT make him unbeatable. your attacks on kerr are a byproduct of your head lodged in fedors ass. kerr would have evolved with the sport and held his own against fedor at LEAST...but he lost focus and got fat...it happens.

  • i FULLY accept I am a fedor nuthugger and in no way do i take that as an insult! fedors skills are unsurmountable, he has the demeanour of a legend...but thats another discussion!

kerr holding his own against fedor is a 'what if' scenario and being a fedor fan im fairly sure you can fathom my response!

    peace

  • with your blind devotion to someone you know little about, you would have made a top rate nazi.

    peace

  • well if the pay was good, then ZIEG HEIL to that and a bratwurst for all!

  • How many time you have see Mark in the guard?

How many time you have see someone put Mark in the ground? Before speek, consider that this man is one of the champion have rended mma in

    what they are today.

  • Lidel dominated the new style fighters with 0 ground or submission skills just fine, so I don't see why Kerr couldn't do the same with a dominating ground + pound. Sure, he would get caught in the odd submission, who doesn't. But with the intensity he had in his prime, I doubt even a top-notch technician could control him enough to slap an easy submission on him.

  • Wonder what the game would be like today if Kerr kept on the path before he self-destructed. He had all the potential in the world to go down as the G.O.A.T. of MMA.
