  • I want.

  • Nice knife. Would the whitecrane make a good outdoors knife or do you think its more of a fighter? Thanks

  • @shaunmason220 It's pretty thin, I consider it a camp knife... I'm not sure it would excel as a bushcraft or fighting knife though.

  • Love how you talk about knives, but cant stand your camera quality! Haha

  • You could have bought a really good camera for what you paid for that knife lol. I really want one though! I'm jealous

  • gorgeous knife and it surely will perform very wel BUT i need heavy duty knives that can stand heavy outodoors use as spliting and choping wood and i think this one could break or chio easyly.Anyway, thanks for sharing.

  • very cool knives.

  • Watched this one twice. That White Crane is gorgeous! I want to get a Compact model to go with my full-size damascus White Crane.

  • You got the damascus!! Very nice!

  • Boy are you getting yourself a collection.. Great scores mate! You still have the DDC GG/CC SMF? I sooo fell in love with that when I saw your review..

    Keep up the good work!

  • Thanks! I hate to tell ya' but I traded the DDC... I just couldn't bring myself to use the bead blasted blade!

  • how much was that ?

  • It was $410 full price, but Murray was kind enough to extend me 25% off my next purchase with him!

  • Great video. I am really starting to look at getting one of Carter's neck knifes.

  • They are great! My Carter neck knife has become my most trusted EDC and companion!

  • Wow, that is one of the best looking knives i have ever seen. Congratulations on getting that.

  • Thanks! The video doesn't do it justice!

  • Hey man love the vids.. Keep them coming. I would love to have all the money you spend on these knives though...

  • Thanks! I appreciate it! Make money to spend money right? That's why I go to a job I hate, so I can buy things I don't need!! Makes me happy though, so mission accomplished.

  • oh, and i thought it was funny you added "flavorless" to the odorless oil.

  • That way you can keep it oiled and still use it to cut food and stuff without contaminating the food.

  • maybe it's just me, but i don't really like to cut foods with oiled blades. a little weird and i'm not very familiar with it.

  • It is a Japanese camellia oil. It is odorless, flavorless, non toxic, and natural...

  • oh that's good to know, because i'm not familiar with oils :(

thanks for clarifying! now to go hunt for oil.

are you going to use this for the d2 para?

  • That camellia oil is for sale on Murray Carter's website for about $20 I am going to get that for my forged knives... the D2 came with a petroleum on it.. I have hit it with Chris Reeve flourinated grease.. but I may try a thin layer of vasoline on it... it's just white petroleum. Most of my knives get a coating of Tuffglide.

  • did you buy a better camera or did you just turn the lights on? should keep the light on more often!

  • I shot this with my digital camera instead of my webcam... It is a little harder since I don't have a tripod.. and it takes forever to upload these vids... looks just a little better than my iSight camera though..

  • I'd Buy one but I Just went and Bought like $140 of ammo online lol

  • Hand forged Japanese steel is gonna set you back just a little, but it is just on another level compared to any other sharpened pieces of steel out there!!!
