Probably one of the reasons Ringo's not too good at rock band is that his fills are very improvisational. I heard him say in an interview that he never plays a fill the same way twice. When it comes to games like Rock Band, the goal is to play the part just like it sounds on the record. This is also why singers who like to improvise and change up parts aren't super great at the game either.

and I learned how to play drums by playing rock band, seem you can go one way but not the other. It's awesome for timing actually, and seeing where you can be putting fills, especially covering songs with a band.
