  • They also train there legs but not very heavy but they stil train them.

    Without weights, same goes for calves, deltoids and chest.

    To be honest I think a mixture of bodyweight training and weights is the best way to go.

  • @20Divine20 They confuse their muscles by doing there exercises slighty different.

    That is one of the reasons they eventually become as big as you see them here.

    Ofcourse since this is a movement not everbody started with body weight exercises.

    But it is possible with the right schedules. Take a look at B-rock and see for yourself.

    Besides doing bodyweight will give you a nicer looking body that actually 'fits' you compared to weights in the gym.

  • @kingashaman It won't give you a nicer looking body, because muscles are muscles, they don't know, how you train them, they just grow, or not. Besides there are a lot of muscles, that you can't train with exercises like that: rear deltoids, calves, legs, the upper section of the chest etc.

    And slightly different exercises. Slightly different from what? With this bars only you don't have so many variations for each muscle and exercise that can confuse your muscles considerable.

    bodyweight make you seem more natural.

    A lot of these guys you see training with bodyweight look better than the guys in the gym.

    And muscles are muscles yes, but there is something called muscle confusion and it works.

    If you train your body with the same schedule for months you will not see as much progess. but if you change your schedule just a little bit every 2 weeks you will see better results.

  • @kingashaman Change the schedule, but only with bars how? You can't change it significant... And you can't fit your bonestructure, it's fixed, like muscle adherence. Genetic. And the guys looking good, and training with bodyweight would look good by training with weights, if they don't grow too large. But training with weights and bodyweight is a good idea, but i prefer weigths, because i want to get very big. :D

  • @20Divine20 There are alot of ways to change the schedule just a little bit and keeping the muscle confused.

    For example just the different grips on the bar will change your workout. And alot of these guys also train with weight vests, so they actually train with weights but in a calesthenics setting. You will also become much stronger (raw power) with bodyweight. But yeah if you want to become really big in a 'short' amount of time then weights are way better.

  • @kingashaman Changing grip is not enough, maybe weight vest can be a solution, but they won't be stronger because training with bodyweigh, it's a misbelief. But i say it again, train all your muscles with these methods is almost impossible.

  • @20Divine20 They don't only change grip, there are alot ways to work the muscles with only bodyweight as you can see in the videos. With bodyweight training you use your body muscles simultaneously. This is why gymnasts are capable of displaying great strength and endurance. I think both ways have there pro's and cons and you can train all your muscles with bodyweight (weight vests and ankle vests are used). A mixture between both is the best way to train. Ah well im of to the gym for now.

  • @20Divine20 Are you saying that what they're doing is bad for the upperbody? I'd like to see you do 10 wide chins. To get back to topic: The training these guys do takes some serious balancing muscles aswell, and yes I do believe that if you mix these kind of training with a hard diet and good sleep you will get a toned UPPERbody (I personally dont know any bar exercise that increases leg strength).

  • THis stuff is extremely intense. NOte: it isn't just the moves in and of themselves but how he complexes them - transitioning from one exercise on the bar to another without ever coming off the bar. That transtioning back and forth - with excellent form, too - marks him as a beast. Anyway, I have no desire to do what he does. Instead, I add THE FIRE of it to my own FIRE and apply the flames to my own training, seeking my own brand of excellence in it.

  • Awesome upper body stuff but it looks like you got no legs. Why would you only train half your body. Don't get me wrong, definitely impressive but I'd like to see what he does as far as leg training.

  • @cuulguy321 The problem is when u train using pullups cos u want to outmatch someone's tricks, ur legs receive very little training. that's why they have small legs. Bet they have monster quads and calves but their legs just cant match up to the high intensity pullups they do even if they pistols from when the sun rises till nighttime.

  • i told clieve about 3-4 years ago to leave the wieghts alone, we keep each other elevated and motivated, clieve is the butcher choppin up the bars!

  • I mix it up. When I do touch weights its usually powerlifting exercises (i.e. power cleans, deadlifts, squats, bench press).
