i live in Illinois, the tornado sirens go off like 20 times a month in the summer, most people dont take shelter anymore because they get used to it but my mom still makes us go to the basement just in case

That was a well-shot video and some well-detailed footage of the funnel. It's pretty amazing how funnels never quite touch the ground but seem to whip up the air currents close to the ground.

Personally, I'd be listening to some harder-edge music while chasing, but that's just me.

I remember that day. I was on the way to tennis with my mom and it was pitch black with really bad winds and the radio just stopped and issued the warning. I was freaking out.

And like a couple of the others said, I'm glad you kept the audio original. I knew those songs were a little cheesy, but I wanted to keep the original audio intact for the tornado warnings on the local radio station I was listening to during the chase. Sure, I could have added better music to the background and have the scenes match up to the drumbeat and all that, (or remove the audio altogether), but I was trying to make it look like a training or educational video of sorts. Sir you are to be commended for a fantastic video shoot!As fine a text book example of the formation of a tornado as you'll see. Leaving the radio broadcast in was a great idea. The warning went out quickly. I know that area down there is mainly rural, but there is the ocassional farm house, as well as barns, trees, windmills as we can see. Sensational clip!
