The book isn't really superheroes beating up bad guys, infact,the only badguy in the book is a rogue superhero. The book is like 200 something pages of character devolpment and personal philosophies. To be honest after the first couple chapters I just skimmed along unitl I saw Rorschach doing something, and he's one of the two characters in the book who's worth a damn. Everyone except those two, in my opinion, dont have the emotional tenacity to be a proper badass superhero.

Among the best books I've ever read, comic or otherwise. I can't imagine how to summarize it. I'd just have to say go pick up a copy.
