Was it sweet like sugar or tart like lemons? I find green apples slightly tart. That makes them great for baking apple pies as the texture doesn't go mushy and soaks in the sweetness of the other pie spices.

@SedulousOrphic It wasn't tart at all. It was slightly sweet. But, not overwhelmingly so. As you could see, it was hard for me to nail down. If it was tart at all, you'd be able to see that expression very clear.
