If anyone ever writes a book about vampires in southern America now they will be called copying the series because it's just so original.

I think vampires in big cities can be cool too, though I think someone has already use that. Northern Europe is a fantastic idea, isn't that where Eric is from?

About vampires living in big cities: you definitely should check "The Hunger", a movie directed by Tony Scott starring Catherine Deneuve, David Bowie and Susan Sarandon...this movie is set in New York!

Years ago, Sam Trammell was On The Record With Greta Van Susteren Fox News. So I had to watch this show and find out what it is about. I have to say, it is one of the best shows I have ever seen. I like the way it is meant to set in the south, how this intolerance of vampires has similarities with racism, and homophobia. In the title sequence how God Hates Fa(n)gs, It is a clever show.
