the amazing part is i was there the day before this pass but when i got him set up at the line, he was two stepping ready to launch but when he let off the clutch the car didnt move but i had to go grab all 5 left rear studs/nuts off the track and then help get the car from the line. So basically he got the car fixed and came back the next day to run this time but i had to work. Oh well hope you still have the car jp!

Well, first you can't tell where he ends... so SMART ASS, since you didn't show the end, and you didn't show the timing on the display... you can say anything you want. I'm just saying with the big delay at the beginning.... you can't tell if the slip goes with the car run or not. Make a better video.

sorry, never raced boxes... only gsxr 750's and 1100's. and the race tracks I raced at, the light turns green and that's when the time starts. AND what I'm saying is the time isn't shown... so you tell me you did 8.99. I say I can't see the trap time. you could show any paper you want after. And the second or delay at the begining makes me skeptical. MAKE A VIDEO AND SHOW THE TRAP TIME AT THE END, AND END THE DRAMA. I didn't say the car wasn't fast.

My mistake, this car was running a factory crank when it ran this time. So again, just in case it hasn't sunk in...3500lbs+, factory crank, factory block, factory transmission, toyota rear and all from 183ci. Now it has the stroker bottom end.

So al1377, that's why everyone is impressed.

To al1377, this car is over 3500lbs and going by the MPH, it is making close to 1500hp. And it is able to put all this power through a factory block, factory transmission and toyota rear end. Let's not forget that this is all from an engine with just over 183ci. There are also guys running same times with even a factory crank.

Power per cubic capacity, you just can't go past a 2J.

Who was talking about gutted out drags? Not me. I'm around people all the time with every amenity in the cars that will beat this Supra even on their worst days. Impressive none the less. I think it's great what they do with turbos these days but it's slow times in the drag scene, thats all

guaranteed you can shave at least a second off your time with an auto drag tranny and a really good launch.. you were a bit skimpy off the line so i'm very certain your time can be improved.
