It's all true, and even as a proud Brit myself I've got to hold my hand up and say Hatton was completely outclassed. I can understand why some people think Cortez was being bias, but that made no difference to the expert performance, speed and power that Mayweather unleashed. I prefer to the fact floyd KO'd ricky, if it had gone the distance and Floyd won say a controversial split or majority decesion..I'd feel alot more upset about the loss, But the fact I can't make any excuses for ricky makes it easier to handle. Although cortez spoiled the first few rounds of the fight, Hatton simply wasn't smart enough for the rest of the fight.

Mayweather was outstanding and ricky just walked onto his stiff jabs...that certainly wasn't the best performance from ricky, way too much emotion in the air and I think hatton lost some of his professionalism because of that. I started to have my doubts after watching the weigh in when ricky was too fired up. Thats why I would like to see a rematch with both fighters relaxed.
