  • did he run a marathon before doing this

  • American crosswords have less "unpaired letters" than do the British ones. Basically more letters are "shared" between two or more words, so it's essentially possible to complete an American style crossword by only completing about half the clues.

And there is either clever editing in play here, or he has some kind of superhuman ability with his hands. I'm honestly more inclined to believe the former.

  • My best Monday NYT is 7:33 lol. Oh well. Go Tyler!!

  • His hands move, like, superhuman fast. And he doesn't even read the questions?

  • except I can't read what he has put in.

  • thanx wired, for showing me that my skills in crossword puzzles are completely pathetic. i love to do them, but this guy makes me look like a sped with a fat tipped sharpie

  • what does this prove exactly? to be impressed, I would need to check it and see how many he got right.

  • It would be way more impressive if he completed the SUNDAY NY Times crossword puzzle in less than 2.5 minutes. Heck, *I* can complete the Monday one. I don't doubt that he's a puzzle whiz, but this isn't the best proof.

  • Another Wired reader checking in. This is most impressive.

  • Writing and thinking does have an effect on the penmenship. The worse the penmenship, probably, the faster you think, I don't know.

By the way, I looked this up because I was reading an article in Wired.

  • damn, that guy writes FAST!

  • The movie is *slightly* sped up

  • no its not itdiot.or else the people would be talking faster

  • You can edit sound...

  • You don't know that and, honestly, I really do not care. I was just stating my opinion, and all you can do is get all fussed up about it.

  • The people sound fast to me.

  • It's the coke.

  • wow

  • great vid and your really fast, sorry the only thing that annoys me is your hand writing is quite sloppy but yeah writing and thinking in high speeds really has an affect on someones handwriting. :P

  • tyler is featured in the documentary wordplay.

  • If you were just a teeny-weeny bit smarter, just like a pigeon-turd smidge, that analogy would have had at least some kind of meaning.

    Yikes.

    Alas.
