There doesn't seem to be much relationship between the video and the sound. Apparently they are two different improvised performances, and possibly even further mangled in the editing. I don't believe he is singing when his mouth is shut, even if singing can be heard! Rather odd really.

What are talking about? There is never any synch with delta blues, hell the original practitioners rarely played the same thing twice, in or out of synch. In fact many played some whacked out stuff including tunes with odd changes and atonal lines. There are no hard fast rules with blues, especially delta blues.
