18 inch rear wheel? motocross bikes normally have 19 inch right? so what does the 18 inch do better?

@curriaser soaks up small rocks etc has more tire between you and what you are running over.

@curriaser the point of the 18 inch wheel is to have alittle more give and cushion in the ride. having that larger sidewall on the tire also helps prevent pinch flats. ultimately the overall height on the bike between an 18 and 19 inch wheel with a tire are about the same. the 18 just makes riding smoother on trails

It won't change the power, but it will change the gearing and speed very slightly.
